This second version offers a 5 times better resolution compared to the previous one : 1/15° instead of 1/3°, that means one point computed every 5 to 7 Km. The geographic extension covers North Atlantic between 9°N and 70°N and the all Mediterranean sea.

Moorings are reference points located in particular interesting ocean locations. Moorings mappings describe data time evolution at the mooring location.

Validation bulletins (available since 01/09/2004) are maps representing the differences between the model computation and the in situ measurement made by available in situ sensors.
