1/15° North Atlantic and MediterraneanFirst eddy-permitting and eddy-resolving configurationThis second version offers a 5 times better resolution compared to the previous one : 1/15° instead of 1/3°, that means one point computed every 5 to 7 Km. The geographic extension covers North Atlantic between 9°N and 70°N and the all Mediterranean sea.
Whole mappings permit a global modelled domain vision. Zonal mappings permit a particular interesting area vision. Animations allow you to visualize temporal evolution on your favourite area or time period. Sections describe ocean from surface to bottom. 10 sections across Atlantic are proposed. Moorings are reference points located in particular interesting ocean locations. Moorings mappings describe data time evolution at the mooring location. Validation bulletins (available since 01/09/2004) are maps representing the differences between the model computation and the in situ measurement made by available in situ sensors.
